What distance does not undo
Much of what kept repeating back home keeps repeating here, just with a different accent around it.
And there is a layer that only those who left know: the guilt of being far away, the phone call that weighs on you, the feeling that you owe an explanation to the ones who stayed. Sometimes what holds a person back abroad is precisely their loyalty to what stayed at home.
Sessions are in Portuguese, with someone who knows the Brazilian family system from the inside. That is not a minor detail: Brazilian family stories have shapes of their own, and it helps not to have to translate yours in order to be understood.
The time you see on the schedule
This is where time zones really matter. The schedule on the main site lists times in Brasília time (UTC-3), and right under each one you see the same time converted to where you are. You pick a slot, answer three short questions, and WhatsApp opens with everything already written. Nothing is sent by the website: you read the message before sending it.
The schedule and the booking steps are in Portuguese, but they are short. Each session is individual, lasts ninety minutes on Google Meet and costs R$ 350,00 (Brazilian reais).

It is individual work, done with you alone, over a video call. No one in your family needs to take part, or even know about it. We look at what keeps repeating, where it comes from in your family system, and hand each burden back to the person it belongs to.
